At Fishtail Academy, we believe that leadership is not just a role—it's a journey of responsibility, self-awareness, and active contribution to the community. Our vibrant Student Council is at the heart of this journey, serving as a platform for student voice, initiative, and collaboration. Composed of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of student leaders, the Student Council plays a central role in shaping school life and fostering a positive campus culture. It actively:
- Conducts daily and special assemblies, reinforcing core values and setting a tone of unity and purpose.
- Maintains school norms and culture, leading by example and encouraging respectful, responsible behavior.
- Organizes programs and events —from celebrations to awareness campaigns—working in close coordination with teachers and school leaders.
- Meets regularly with internal council meetings held twice a week to plan, review, and reflect on ongoing initiatives.
- Engages in dialogue with the Principal through scheduled meetings, where members seek guidance, present ideas, and receive mentorship.
By involving students in real decision-making processes and giving them ownership of their school environment, we help them develop essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, accountability, and problem-solving. At Fishtail, student leadership is more than a title—it’s a transformative experience that empowers young individuals to lead with confidence and compassion.
ECA/CCA: Creativity, Activity & Service

Nurturing the Whole Child Beyond the Classroom At Fishtail Academy, education extends far beyond textbooks and classrooms. Our Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities (ECA/CCA) program is rooted in the internationally inspired CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) framework, designed to foster well-rounded, socially responsible, and self-aware individuals.
- Creativity
We encourage students to express themselves through a range of creative pursuits—from visual arts, music, dance, and drama to writing, debating, and designing. Creativity at Fishtail is not limited to the arts; it includes innovative thinking, original ideas, and problem-solving, allowing students to explore their passions and develop confidence.
- Activity
Physical well-being is a key component of holistic education. Our sports, games, fitness sessions, and outdoor adventures help students build stamina, resilience, teamwork, and discipline. Whether it's football, martial arts, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Volley Ball, Athletics, Table Tennis, Badminton or inter-house competitions, every student finds a space to grow through physical engagement.
- Service
Through structured community service initiatives, students are encouraged to understand real-world issues, empathize with others, and make meaningful contributions. From organizing awareness campaigns to volunteering with local organizations, Fishtail students learn that leadership means service to others.
